Rutland Cycling Club sent us a link to this ace video of their annual hill climb race on the slopes of Mam Nick in the Peak District – looks like it was a stormy morning but nevertheless its fantastic to see one of the oldest cycling clubs in the area still hitting the roads hard.

Owen Hayman from our Environmental Sciences department sent us this shot from his ride at the highest point of Ringinglow Road, as he and a friend cycled back to Sheffield after rock climbing on Stanage. He says the snow suddenly came in as they were climbing – leading to this photo showing a challenging but still picturesque terrain for cycling.
